Pageantry-As a previous judge of multiple pageants, my advice regarding how your walk looks on stage is this; it should be elegant and smooth. Your turns, especially in a gown, should be effortless and your stance should look regal. Practice by being in a public place such as a shopping mall and walk down the corridors as if you were on stage. Get used to people staring at you. This practice effort will help you with two things; learning how to ignore being observed by a crowd and getting that polished walk down so it comes naturally, just in case those nervous “jitters” pop up.
