St. Patrick’s Day-Your lucky day!

St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated on March 17, the saint’s religious feast day and the anniversary of his death in the fifth century. The Irish have observed this day as a religious holiday for over 1,000 years. According to St. Patrick’s Day lore, in an effort to convert the Irish to Christianity, Patrick used the three leaves of a shamrock to explain the Christian holy trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Today, St. Patrick’s Day revelers wear a shamrock out of tradition and in hopes of receiving good luck. The green beer,, well that’s just for fun!
