Cooking Tip-Save those old vegi’s


I know what it’s like to be short on time. Especially for cooking, one of my favorite things to do in life. So here is a good tip; take your veggie’s and fruits one eve, maybe on a lazy Sunday, and chop them up to fill multiple bags. You can use just one ingredient or many. This is a great idea for crock pots and pressure cookers.  The fruit can be used for smoothies and baking and guess what, no preservatives for your belly! YAY! Then store them in the freezer for future use down the road. Be sure and use a marker to date the bags. Nothing worse than two-year-old broccoli. Try and use them within a window of about 90 days. This also is a great way to save those edibles before they head for the trash. Better than watching yet another veggie bite the dust and wasting that money.
