Interior Design Tip-Sometimes bigger is better~

rug

If your floor is made up of concrete, tiles, wood or any stone material, cover the spaces with large area rugs set in strategic places; the entry hall, the main center of each room, the back hall, the kitchen and bathroom. The proper aesthetic scale usually is the larger the better. Don’t put tiny little rugs all over the room in front of each doorway or counter space. Whatever your choice, the effect will make your room feel cozy and look professionally decorated.  Also, rotate your rugs or carpets once in a while to even out the wear and tear. For a safe, natural cleaning mixture for your wool rugs, simply put a teaspoon of pure white vinegar along with one teaspoon of mild detergent into two full quarts of warmed water.

Reading through this post reminds me of my previous room mate!
He always kept chatting about this. I will forward this
write-up to him. Fairly certain he will have a good read.
